Interview with Top Blogger Nithin Maheta of makingdifferent.com

1   Here we  have creative blogger who blogs at MakingDifferent and he is a par time blogging and he is none other than Nithin Maheta. You can get his total interview here.

1)       1)Can you tell us a little about yourself?

  

Ans) Myself Nitin Maheta, a common man from a small town, Rajkot but with great vision. Though what I am doing right now for my livelihood is too different than that of my vision. I am presently working as a manger in one of the leading garment store in Rajkot but along with maintaining diverse customers I behold a passion for blogging too. You could educate yourself with this passion of mine by visiting makingdifferent.com. This is not the end but just a small step towards fulfilling my dream. Surely it is molding my passion towards success.

2) When you were first introduced to the blogging?

Ans) to be very frank blogging was never planned by me and I just adapted it as a pastime almost 5 years back. I never knew that my passion will shift me to a vast world packed with fun and knowledge. The more I learn every day, I realize much is left to explore. Before 5 years the term SEO or even blogging was completely unknown to me. Alike the fates of all new bloggers, my blogs were posted at bloggers.com, which is termed as ideal place for freshers. Hardships were yet to come! Via some automated classification system errors my entire blogs were deleted from there. This was really beyond expectation and broke my passion for it and finally decided to quit this field. It was my hard work and time that was dedicated in writing 400 posts and the great effort that was required in gaining huge traffic from them. All swept away in a fraction of second, and my hard work went to zero. “No pain, no gain” and suddenly arrived Mr. Bhavesh Sondagar, founder of ehowportal.com and showed me another way out. He advised me to switch to WordPress and start a blog. Honestly this foray was completely new to me but with his aid, I moved forward. In his hosting he installed a blog of mine too. Now the term WordPress was no more alien to me and finally I was a proud owner of my own hosting.

                        

3) Which blogging platform do you use?

Ans) what could be my answer except WordPress! WordPress is the only platform that has guided me and helped me in regaining my lost interest and passion for blogging. I guess it is the best destination for all those who want to start their career as blogger.

4) How did your Blogging journey start?

Ans) it’s almost 5 years that I am part of blogging. I started my journey with blog on BlogSpot platform. I have also registered a domain name now for my own blog and you will be happy to learn that now my blog is enjoying a rank of fewer than 33K in the Global Alexa ranking.

5) Every website has a back story behind it. Tell us story of example.com. What motivated you to start it?

Ans) as I mentioned earlier it was just a passion and I undertook it as a hobby. I had no idea that it will occupy such a center stage in my life and contribute handsomely to my income also.

6) What networking do you do that you feel helps your online business?

Ans) earning traffic and maintaining network could be done easily if you are writing consistently. Along with quantity you also need to maintain the quality of the content so that it leaves a great impact upon the readers. I also place images and share my links in all popular networking sites including Facebook, Gmail etc. I have also enrolled in SEO as it directly helps me in gaining traffic. Commenting is another tool to earn online business. In certain case backlinks and tagging also helps a lot.

6) What’s next for you, are you working on any projects or products we should be looking forward to? Give us the behind the scenes exclusive – something you haven’t announced yet anywhere else!

Ans) as such there is nothing right now, but surely I am planning for something new and innovative related to internet marketing. Finger crossed! Hope you get the good news soon!

7) If there was one thing that you wish you knew before you started the site, what would that be?

Ans) earlier I was copying the content of some bloggers due to which the ranking of my site was seeing downfall on Google and in Alexa. Now when I have the known the fact that one should not copypaste the content but rather provide original in order to earn good ranking I feel I should have known this earlier.

8) Tell us few apps/services that you are using these days. (for example: Mailchimp, GetClicky, Buysellads, Magazine, etc,)

Ans) I would say Google Adsense is enough to fulfill any of my needs for educating myself with any information.

9) Your words for the newbie’s-

Ans) Quality is the only formula that will earn you fame in this field. Remember the niche for which you are working and maintain the dignity of that niche. Your regular skill and innovative work can lead you towards success.
